Giclee Prints
A Giclee (zhee-clay) is a state-of-the-art reproduction of the artwork using digital technology and large, wide-format inkjet printers. The artwork is digitized and printed with the exact color and detail as the original. Our giclees are printed on the same type canvas as the original. Bobby then paints and enhances the print to make each one unique and special.
The print is sealed by a special laminate that makes it water resistant, smudge-proof and protects it from UV radiation. The print will resist fading (tested at over 100 years.) This makes it unnecessary to cover the print with glass, allowing the print to be framed and hung exactly like the original.
Giclee prints are usually the same size as the original. However, if a different size would fit your wallspace better we will print a giclee in your preferred size. Just email us your wishes and we will give you the details.
Giclees mailed rolled and ready for framing will be shipped free of charge.
